Dogzonline Breeders of the Year 2023
For the second year in a row, Leonrua is the Dogzonline Breeder of the Year leonbergers in New Zealand. This is generated from points accumulated by Leonrua dogs at championship shows - mostly Percy and Kayla!
Zuri passes health tests!
December 2023
Zuri’s hip and elbow tests have come back and we are very happy with her results. Elbows 0:0 and PennHip 0.21:0.22. This means that Zuri is in the 5% of leonbergers worldwide with the tightest hips (as tested using PennHip), well below the average of 0.44!
Youngsters fun!
November 2023
We are really happy with the progress of our 3 youngsters - Quinn, Harley & Mera - who all have different personalities and looks. They love getting into all sorts of mischief together!
Europe 2023
While on a business trip to Europe, Ronan got to spend time with Gabi, mother to our Keeta, and her sister Chilli when he visited Andrea in the Czech Republic. Following this, he also got to spend the day at Leonberg for the annual DCLH Champion show!

We are so very thankful to Orsi and Sandor for trusting us with their stunning boy Forrest and sending his genetics from Hungaryall the way to New Zealand!
Phoenix is our beautiful homebred girl and has the most amazing temperament!
Forrest is a perfect match for Phoenix’s first litter. We are really excited about introducing his lines into our kennel and continue working on increasing the genetic diversity of Leonbergers in NZ
